Distinguished guests, esteemed faculty members, and most importantly, the bright and promising students of Anchor University Lagos, It is with immense pleasure and a sense of great pride that I stand before you today to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to each and every one of you.

A matriculation ceremony holds a special significance in the life of every student. It marks the official induction into the vibrant community of scholars, where dreams will be nurtured, knowledge will be acquired, and friendships will be forged.

This ceremony serves as a formal recognition of the student presence, commitment, and determination. It symbolizes the dedication the student have shown in reaching this significant milestone. It also represents the values and ethos that define our institution – integrity, academic excellence, inclusivity, and a relentless pursuit of knowledge.

We celebrate the start of our student voyage towards intellectual growth, self-discovery, and lifelong learning. We believe in the student ability to make a positive impact on society, and we are excited to witness the transformative journey that awaits our student.
